Local birder and photographer, Jessica Ausura, will be along to give us a special look at our birds. Jessica wrote the regular, "Bird Nerd" column for the Daily Press and brings valuable knowledge for this exclusive experience!

Our bee expert is Dr. Barbara Abraham, who has an extensive background and interest in insects as a researcher and college professor. Additionally, she is Chair of Bee City USA – Hampton. She will share information that will change the way you think of bees!

Restrictions

Proper fitting life jacket must be worn during paddle. Shored Up includes a life jacket with the use of one of our kayaks.
Participants must be able to climb a short ladder from a standing pier to a floating dock for launching kayaks.
Need to be able to enter and exit kayak from a floating dock.
Be comfortable paddling and being on the water for complete tour.

If you are using one of Shored Up's kayaks, please ensure that the style and weight restrictions suit your needs. Shored Up cannot provide substitute boats or make refunds if the boat you chose does not meet your needs.
