Each tour will illustrate the role that oysters play in creating a healthy Chesapeake Bay which in turn supports local businesses and our economy. The tours will also include information on the efforts that have gone into restoring oyster populations here. The narration will be told through the lens of Hampton's unique oyster and seafood history including the role that Native and African Americans played and how that history impacts our present-day Bay.
